With calm eats I hope to bring to the forefront the importance of healing our guts and slowing down enough to pay attention to what our body is telling us. We have a broken food system, too much stress and a lot of health issues on our hands. As Hippocrates so wisely said thousands of years ago: "All disease begins in the gut"
If we could be mindful and intentional about our health, we wouldn't have to wait until something went wrong in order to take action. My intention is to promote healing through food and focus on nourishment that support optimal gut health and improves every aspect of life. I create gut friendly recipes that are easy to make without a lot of fuss. Everything is 100% gluten and dairy free.
In order to promote optimal healing, we have to calm our pace, eat real food and pay attention to body and mind and not be afraid to go against the norm.
